Specify a Production Resource Capacity

The production resource capacity defines the maximum total daily rate for a resource in all the locations in which the resource works.

  1. In the Resource capacities data grid, select the Capacity column for the row that specifies the resource for which you want to define the capacity.
  2. Type the value for the resource.
  3. In the Units column, select the unit in which the capacity is measured.
  4. In the Materials column, select the material classes that count toward the resource capacity.
  5. In the Date/event column, select the date or event at which you want the capacity to be applied to the resource.
  6. In the Delay column, type the number of days you want to pass after the event selected in the Date/event has occurred, before you want the capacity to be applied to the resource.
  7. If you want to define changes to the resource capacity at different dates or events, copy the row and change the Capacity, Materials, Date/event, and, optionally, Delay columns.
